This is where PenMount sets new standards. With its powerful and free software, PenMount offers the possibility of flexibly and precisely adapting PCAP touch controllers to your individual requirements.

Simple configuration – direct and uncomplicated

The user-friendly software allows a wide range of customizations, including

  • Touch points: Define how many simultaneous inputs are recognized.
  • Sensitivity: Adjust the response threshold of the touchscreen to your environment.
  • Palm detection: Avoid unintentional inputs from the palm of your hand or larger contact surfaces – ideal for applications where precision is required.
  • Handling water: Optimize the controller for harsh conditions.
  • Touch orientation: Rotate the touch surface by 180° if your design requires it.

Early fault detection with integrated noise level test

A particular highlight is the integrated noise level test. This helps to identify potential sources of interference in the system that could lead to unwanted touch triggers. As soon as the critical areas are identified, targeted adjustments can be made – even before the product goes into series production.

All settings made can be saved as the delivery status so that the system arrives optimized. For more complex adaptations or special requirements, the PenMount team is on hand to help you implement tailor-made solutions.

Universally applicable and future-proof

The PenMount touch controllers support common interfaces such as I²C, USB, RS232 and UART and are available for screen diagonals from 5“ to 24”. They have proven themselves in numerous areas of application – from industry and automation to medical technology. Our Beck Compact Modules also rely on the proven PenMount technology.
